Don Quinn, of Resources.ie, was down with us this week undertaking our OPITO approved (BOSIET)Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training. Mr. Quinn found the training both “physically and psychologically challenging” and he was “very impressed with the patience and professionalism of the offshore instructors.”
Resources.ie was established in the 1990’s in direct response to a requirement from a broad range of industries for a consultancy firm offering flexible, professional support in the challenging and fast changing area of Health & Safety Training.
Yet again we had a very successful BOSIET course running at the NMCI this week. This course, along with our MIST, FOET and HUET are run in conjunction with our new joint venture partners SEFtec Global Training Limited.
We are very proud to announce that all of our delegates successfully completed the BOSIET, which is an offshore course that is designed to provide delegates with a basic knowledge of safety and emergency response procedures for working in offshore environments. read more…
Delegates from Kinsale Energy Limited attended our OPITO Approved Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) this week. This course is designed to meet further emergency training requirements for oil and gas industry personnel. We had our annual Maritime Open Day on the 3rd of November 2010 which is a great opportunity for prospective students to have a look at the wonderful maritime facilities we have on offer at the National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI).
This year’s event was a massive success with over 400 students and parents from all over Ireland getting the chance to see our world class facilities. The students were literally blown away with our demonstration on sea survival in our 20m x 8m indoor pool. read more…
