NMCI Services first week back after Christmas holidays

Posted: January 5, 2018

After a lovely Christmas break we have opened our college door on the 2nd of January.

We had a great group of UCC students attending a bespoke Personal Survival Techniques Course and GMDSS-SRC course.

It was also fantastic to be welcomed by a lovely testimonial from the HSE group that attended a bespoke HUET & PST course in December.

“The National Ambulance Services’ Marine Response Team recently completed the HUET module in the National Maritime College of Ireland campus.

All team members mentioned the professionalism of the instructors in both the theory and practical elements of the course.

All elements of the course were thoroughly enjoyed by our team members and provided them with the required safety training for our operations.”

We are looking forward to seeing everyone back next week and welcoming many more delegates & students on our courses in 2018!

Regards,

NMCI Services Team

From The States to Space

Posted: July 20, 2017

We’ve had a busy week here at NMCI Services. On Saturday we welcomed 235 students from Maine Maritime Academy, who were here to complete training over the course of four days with SEFtec NMCI Offshore. The students sailed from the USA over to Cork and completed a number of various exercises in our Sea Survival Pool, Damage Repair Unit, Freefall Lifeboat and Engine Room Simulators. Check out our Facebook page to see some video footage of the MMA student in action! https://www.facebook.com/NMCIServices/

On Wednesday 19th we welcomed a fantastic group of students from the International Space University’s Space Studies Program. Everyone successfully completed an Introduction to Maritime Safety Course. Thanks to Tara Foster for taking some great images. Follow her blog on to hear more about her experience at the NMCI.
